Home / Pricing

Published prices, because hiding them wastes both our afternoons.

Ongoing work runs on a monthly retainer. One off projects are quoted from the rates further down this page. No setup fees, no long lock in, no line items that appear after you sign.

Monthly retainers

Three plans. Pick the one that matches your rate of change.

Every plan includes hosting, security, monitoring and real hours of work. The difference is how many hours and how fast we answer. All prices are in US dollars, billed monthly, cancel with 30 days notice.

One off projects

Standalone work, priced up front.

You do not need a retainer to buy any of these. Figures marked "from" are starting points; we confirm a fixed price after the scoping stage, before any work begins.

Standalone project and add on pricing, effective January 2026. All figures in US dollars.

Questions about money

The things clients ask before signing.

If yours is not here, ask it on the call. We would rather answer it now than have it become a dispute later.

Is there a minimum contract length?

No. Retainers run month to month after the first three months, which cover onboarding and the initial hardening work. After that you can cancel with 30 days written notice for any reason.

What happens if I use more hours than my plan includes?

We tell you before you reach the limit, not after. You can approve extra hours at $145 each, move the work into next month, or move up a tier. We never bill hours you have not agreed to.

Do unused hours carry over?

Yes, once. Hours unused in one month are available the following month and then expire. This stops the quiet months from feeling wasted without letting a year of hours pile up into a project we have not planned for.

Can I buy a build without taking a care plan?

In most cases we would rather you did not, and we will explain why on the call. An unmaintained site is the exact problem this studio was founded to fix. If you have your own in house team taking over maintenance, that is a different conversation and the answer is usually yes.

How does payment work?

Retainers are invoiced on the first of the month, payable within 14 days by ACH transfer or card. Project work is split into three payments: 40 percent to begin, 30 percent at design sign off and 30 percent on launch. Everything is in US dollars.

Who owns the work when we part ways?

You do, once the final invoice for that work is paid. Code, designs, content, domains and hosting accounts are all yours. We hand over documentation and access, and we will spend up to four hours briefing your next team at no charge.

Do you work with businesses outside Ohio?

Yes. Most of our clients are elsewhere in the United States and we work across every time zone. Meetings are on video unless you are close enough that coffee makes more sense.

Not sure which plan fits?

Tell us how many sites you run and how often they change. We will name a tier in one email, including the cheaper one if that is the honest answer.
